Tony, I used to work in the eye wear businessbefore I retired.  The advances that have been made with the surgery is fantastic.  You will be astonded to really see what you have been missing, and you will need a pair of reading glasses for near vision.  The world will be brighter for yu as well, did out those nice sunglasses.

Tony, I 'm lucky enough not to need anything like that (yet), but I wish you a speedy recovery for both ops.  Take care of your eyes, they can't be replaced.

I'm expecting that I'll get mine in November. Not looking forward to the operation but, if I could just read the words on TV with out a shadow or see just one star instead of three at a time, it may be worth it.
I can't see all my mistakes, but I can feel them when I do wood working.  ;)

My brother had cataract surgery about five years ago and it made all the difference for him. His recovery was about seven days to, so just relax and take it easy.  :)

I had it about 5 years ago too, best thing I ever done. The best is how the colors will look so bright and clear it was amazing. Just do what they say everything will be fine in a short while. Sunglasses sunglasses sunglasses.

Good Luck

Just want to thank all of yall for your kind words, and so far I am amazed at the difference in my sight! What is really amazing is the colors are so much brighter! I will be having my other eye(left) done May 9, so my scrolling will again be interrupted, but, it will be worth it. If the left one turns out as good as the right one has, I will be superman!LOL
