My first attempt at fretwork!
« on: March 18, 2012, 01:08:07 pm »
This is my first try at fretwork. It's a Potpourri box from a pattern that Steve Good provided on the website (Thanks Steve) that I thought would be functional and a good place to start for a beginner. It's made from Hard Maple & Walnut and finished with 4 coats of Danish oil.

Nicely done box.  I like your color choice for the lid.  Thanks for sharing it with us.

Love your choice of woods, and if that is your first attempt then I can't wait to see your second - lovely work.
