Modifying a pattern

I was wondering if it is okay to modify Steve's patterns.

This is not for resale.  Our club has a contest going to create a new logo.  The scrollers will have a chuckle the turners and flatworkers will have a bird.

Yes, it is okay to modify Steve's patterns. Just make sure you give him credit for the original. Also you can't post them here but you can post a picture of the finished product.
