A Stalking Leapord
« on: March 12, 2012, 04:46:06 am »
This is my version of "A Stalking Leapord "! I seen this cut by R Fortier and just loved it, so i thought i would give it a go , It was cut from 6.5mm ( 1/4" )birch plywood and i cut a stack of three. The cutting itself measures 25" x 20" and i have put it in an old frame that was not being used! I cut all of it using spiral blades and must say i am getting to like them! According to the pattern there are 775 cuts , but i did not count them  :D
The Pattern is by Kerry Hallam. Hope you like it ....Pete

Beautiful work Pete!  Any guess on how many cutting hours it took you?  Either way, that obviously took you a while, and came out wonderful!

Very Very nicely cut Pete.  Thanks for sharing it with us.  It looks like it would have been nerve wracking in a couple of places.

That really looks great, Pete. I cut mine with flat blades, I still just can't get used to spirals. It must really be impressive at that size.
