Cheese Box with Mouse
« on: March 09, 2012, 04:57:36 pm »
Cheese box with mouse.  The base pattern is Steve Goods I just modified it to be a box.  Cut from pine and black walnut.  Stained a golden maple ( water based stains ) finished with tung oil.

Very Clever and well executed!

So what does one store in a "cheese' box that has a resident mouse?

I make the same box as Steve's
I drill a hole for a swivel pin in the top then slice the top off & drill a hole in the cheese block & pot the lid back on with a dowel pin so the top can swivel open.
I sell them for a ring box for the kitchen, a lot of women take there ring off when working in the kitchen
