HOORAY!

Finally coming to my area.....

Menards Hopes to Open Store in St. Peters In Spring 2013
The Planning and Zoning Commission approved the national hardware store's site plan during Wednesday's meeting, paving the way for the store to come to St. Peters.

I was stationed at Minot AFB when the Menards opened there.  Closest one prior to that was down in Bismark, so it was quite a pain to get supplies for the house I was renovating.  After they opened it I thinks I was in that place at least 4 days a week.  I loved it.  Then I transferred to Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota where there was already a Menards, and not long after I got there, they opened a Lowe's!  I was in heaven!!!  If they'd only gotten the Cabela's opened before I retired!!!!!  ::)

I will still have to drive 90 mi. to Columbia, MO for the time being but things are looking up!

SOON it will be 3 mi. from my shop!

I have 3 within an hrs. drive, now I'll have one close to my dau. in St. Peters, she'll be expecting me to do even more fix-ups while I'm there.
