Greetings all...
I'm Bobby from Montreal, Canada. Contrary to popular belief, we do not live in igloos or ride dog sleds to work here just because it is only 5 degrees above zero - or minus 15 Celsius outside this morning.
The good news is that it will be warming up come Thursday!!! Time to get out the sun block!!!
I bought a scroll saw about 10 years ago. It certainly wasn't a "top of the line" machine. It was a 13" single speed bench top model that I got on sale for about $70 if I remember correctly. I tried doing some "outside" cuts, maybe 3 or 4 times, didn't get any good results, and so it sat tucked away in my shop for all those years.
A buddy of mine has a decent saw which I tried... and was hooked. I came home and watched all of Steve's videos and knew that I was going to love doing this, but I needed a saw. I picked up my 788 a week ago and have been cutting ever since. I'll be sure to start posting some of my creations as I finish them.
Great site here, by the way!
