Yep Danny, the central area is an oil resevoir set into the top by about 1 1/2 inches, gives it about 3-4 hours running time.
Thank you all for your nice comments. I'll post some more bits soon, I have borrowed dads scroll saw (an old ?45 Clarkes one same as my old one) but it cutts 100% better than my EX at the minute, a nice smooth cut and not shaking the workpiece about so you can hardly see the line to cut lol. I have just finished a greyhound clock on it and a "Round Tuit" on the lathe so I'll post them soon.
