Poplar Wave Bowl

This bowl was cut from 3/8 in poplar, sealed with Tung Oil and top coated with Shellac

Nice work, Mr. SW.  You made that poplar look good.  Every time I stain poplar it comes out awful looking, with green in it.   >:(

Is tung oil like the Danish oils?  Does it come in different "flavors"?  If so which one did you use?

very nice work there, I tried one of those, it was so bad I put it in file 13 (rubbish bin)  thanks for sharing, I now know what the finished item should look like, ready for my next attempt.
