have you ever needed something, went to look for it because you knew you had it.  When you couldn't find it , ran to the store to buy it. Got home, used it and put it back in the cabinet right next to the one you couldn't find. they must have some type of a law( Murphy's) about this.  What am I going to do with 2 almost full bottle of blue lock-tite??  Richard aka thumbs

Richard, it happens to all of us, I always do the same thing because I never look in the most obvious place. My Son-in-law loves me for it as He always gets my duplicate items.

Happened to me last week. I couldn't find my dado insert for my craftsman saw and ordered a new one. When I got home I got an image in my mind of it hanging on a nail in my shop. Went out there to see and low and behold it was there. I just think I am getting older.

The opposite is even worse!  Ie: when you start to pick up something at the store but don't because you are sure you have one at home.  Then when you get home you don't have one and can remember when you used it up.  Now you are forced to go back and buy it.

I had a friend once that always took a grocery list with her when she went shopping but at the top was written,  WHAT I DO NOT NEED THIS WEEK.  She was always thinking "I think I need some of that and ending up with 2 or 3 of the item hence the reason for the note.

One better have you ever went to the store to buy something you just had to have and when you got there you couldnt remember what you went there for. happened to me last year so i walked around the store to see if something would jog my memory and it didnt so i went back home only to remember it when i got home.LOL
