Marg, I did find you go through a learning curve with them ! My first problem was squashing the blade in the clamp as the blade was not always 90% to the clamp therefore making it more difficult to thread it through subsequent holes. I did get varies suggestions for this but the best way i found was to gently insert it into the bottom clap first and it would generally find its own way to 90%, this would mean if it was going to be squashed it would be at the top end and as i am a top feeder this was no longer a problem
Sweeping curves and straight lines are a little harder with the spirals but the more i cut with them the more confident i was getting
, they are necessary for the bigger projects though, practice ,practice and then practice some more !
