Fishing pole rack

A friend of mine acquired a hand-made fishing pole, made in 1937. He asked me if I could make a rack for it so he could display it in his home.  The rack is two feet high by four feet wide, made from maple with a walnut backing.  The jumping fish was designed by Rick and Karen Longabaugh, and appeared in the Spring, 2010, issue of Scrollsaw Woodworking & Crafts.  The original design only measured 5" in diameter, but I blew it up to 16".  This is the first project I ever made of this size, and the first time I had to use spiral blades to make the cuts, since the project was too big for my saw.
