« on: January 09, 2012, 04:27:53 pm »
:(  Well folks I'm down for a bit... It was sleeting this morning and when I came out of my shop to go inside the house  I slipped and fell on the porch or should I say off the porch.. Hurt my foot which I landed on.. Swollen and sore no breaks.. I'm pouting big time.. I was in the middle of a portrait...  Shucks... Sheila

Sorry to hear about your fall. Glad no broken bones. Take it easy and hope you can get back to the shop soon. Don't give up on 2012 yet, it can only get better.

Really glad you didn't break anything. Just a minor set back. You will be up and going in no time. You can't keep a good woman down.  ((((((Hugggssss))))) I thought you might need that.  :)

P.S. Don't tell my wife I am giving away hugs. LOL  :D

Big, Tender HUGZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ...

Are you SURE nothing is broken? Feet are very susceptible to small breaks that may show up later.

How's the 'rump'? Bruised and battered?

Take it easy, Darlin'!

Glad you ok with nothing broken (apart from your ego) You'll have to rest up thinking up new projects to make when you are better. ((((((((HUGS)))))))))

Hi Sheila, glad to hear nothing damaged, apart from your pride. You take care and get better kind of quick. Maybe a big Scottish (((((((((((((HUG)))))))))))) will help. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.
Rob Roy.

Sorry to hear about your fall.   :(  That's a bummer! But by the same token, you don't use a scroll saw with your foot!  ::) Unless you have a deadmans foot switch but, even then you can move the switch to the other foot.  ;D
Hope you feel better soon.  ;)

Good luck getting better soon. Last year I slipped down my steps and sprained my foot, I was miserable for over a week. The doctor gave me cruches for several days, they just made my arms sore. I had to keep my foot elevated and iced so I got a pillow for my workbench and put my foot up while I scrolled. My husband thought it was pretty funny, I think there is a picture someplace of it.
feel better soon.
