A "feel good" story for the new year!

I never really wanted to grow up....All I wanted was to be able to reach the cookie jar...and play with my DW 788

For me my training would have kicked in and I would have been in the water in a heart beat. Never jumped in freezing water but had to jump in lakes for rescues on several occasions.  :)

Russ, I think I and several of our fellow members would have been right beside you!

I, too, have been in a lake and boat on a few occasions to help.

I have never jumped in freezing water, I heard it wasn't fun but the adrenalin takes over and helps.   8)

My grandfather, who was an excellent swimmer, drowned in Lake Superior while fishing, so stories like this touch me deeply when they have a happy ending.  Thanks for posting it
