Torch Your Work
I normally use a small pencil torch to burn off 'fuzzies' from the back of cuttings.
Then just have to slightly wipe with a 150 grit sandpaper to get all off.

I have noticed that, by doing that burning, I can get some interesting highlighting for the cutting. So I have been torching the front of some cuttings and am pleased with the added art.

Here is my "End Of The Trail" I torched. Note that I also used some 'scrapbooking' paper for a background.

HINT: When torching be sure to keep the torch moving and always have an extinguisher and/or bucket of water nearby if you have to DUNK a flaming piece.

Veerrrrrry Interesting!

Have one of those torches in the kitchen drawer and now will have to move it to the 'shop'!

Nice looking rendering of my favorite artwork!

I have been adding pyrography to some of my work for years. I usually use a iron to do mine. The torch work looks nice to.  :)

Howdy John....  I second what Dgman told yas....  And I had forgotten all about using the lil torch.  Way back yonder I was using it all the time on the backside till I ran across FLYING DUTCHMAN blades.  Hey there isn't hardly any lil fuzzies to burn off.  I like the effect you made on your portrait, so Yepper I shall give it a try.  Tks for the tip....  Danny  :+}

Thanks for sharing John, I will have to try that.  But before I use Mineral spirits or paint remove on them, or they will really be torched. :)
