This is one of Charlie Dearing's Pattern's and i'm sure he posted his cutting of this subject not so long ago. Had to think what cuts to leave to the end as some fragile bits , it was cut from 6.5mm (1/4) birch ply with a 3mm (1/8") ply backing, i cut it with a 3# fd ur and was my most adventurous project so far and i am pleased with the outcome
.
A qustion for the more seasoned scrollers , i am a top feeder and sometimes find it difficult to align the drill hole with the hole in the table! this is ok when you have a new blade and it is aligned with the hole but after a few cuts i sometimes find that the blade is just off alignment makeing it a bit more difficult to pass the blade through !. Any thoughts... Pete

.
The cutting measures 22" x 15"
Mainewoods, I think i will stick with top feeding as i think i would end up with a sore back if i were to look under all the time
