Last Gift is Finished
« on: December 24, 2011, 08:02:26 am »
This segmented tiger is from the Big Book of Scrollsaw Woodworking.  Seemed a bit daunting at first, but once I got into it, it really wasn't too bad.

3/8" BB ply
Cut with FD-UR #1
Approx 104 segments stained individually then glued together, then glued to a 1/8" MDF backer.  Overall dimensions are 13.5" X 10.5"

For my daughter who loves anything and everything to do with tigers (if some of you hadn't figured that out already! ;))

absolutely fantastic work there, you should be proud of it and your daughter will love it. (If she doesn't like it there will always be a keefie here willing to adopt it  ;D ;D)

then I opened it and saw the big picture and ..... it was a project.
