RASPBERRY SAUCE
(From ?Grampa Ed? for adding to almost anything!)

Ingredients:
      1 Package frozen Red Raspberries
      1 cup sugar
      1 cup water
      1/2 stick butter

How to do it:
Combine sugar and water In a saucepan.
Cook over medium heat until sugar is dissolved. (stir constantly)
Continue cooking until mixture thickens.
Stir in the frozen Raspberries and butter stirring and cooking until the berries are thawed.
Bring to a boil and continue cooking until the syrup thickens to your taste.
You can transfer this to a blender and liquefy or leave it as it is.
I have been known to blend and strain to get rid of the seeds.
I have also been known to add such things as Rum, Amaretto, or Gran Marnier as the mood strikes me and the occasion demands.

Especially wonderful when served warm over Chocolate Cheesecake!

Enjoy!

Sorry Marge! 1 stick of butter = 1/4 pound of butter....or roughly 10 grams.

Hey Marg, Butter is sold in a one pound box, divided into four, wrapped "sticks".

We have 250g blocks of butter.  We don't call them sticks.

OK...

250 grams = .55 pounds.

So a 'stick' of butter (U.S.) = 125 grams (aprox.)

Easy enough?

Now get busy and try the sauce!
