Razorback Bench
« on: November 22, 2011, 08:29:29 pm »
Almost finished - needs the finishing coats of polly and it's done . I had already went to Lowe's and picked-up the 2"/10"/8' and was within days of starting this project for part of my son's Christmas present . I had heard of a funeral home giving these 50 year old pews away for they were re-modeling . They said they just didn't want anyone that wanted these to  re-sale them - well perfect fit for me . I'll take the material back to Lowe's , I cut the 10 footer in half and stripped the old finish off and free handed the Razorback to the bench with the help of a pattern that I'd been working on that's 3' in size and stained it .......well it'll wait a couple of days before the first finish coat go's on ........hope he like the surprize gift ..the pictures doen't do the bench any justice....any comments are welcome ........MB   ???

That's Very cool Marshall! I was going to ask what the significance of the Razorback was, but then I saw your signature line.
