Campasano , re hegner , i checked everything i could think of including the tention but i am at a loss as to what the problem was ! also forgot to mention that i managed to blow an internal fuse within an hour on the replacement Excaliber 21
but the supplier sent replacement 5 amp glass fuses and all seems to be working well now ! PHEW

This scrollsaw bug is catching as i have now bought myself a tablesaw and made myself a mitre sled so i can make my own frames
once again thanks to you all and i will post some of my work if i can figure out how to resize my photo's
