Street Fair
« on: October 24, 2011, 12:03:24 am »
Last Sunday our woodworking club did the annual Street Fair in Thousand Oaks CA.
The club paid for the booth and we had about 12 members selling. I was the only Scroller. The problem with so many showing in one booth is not enough room to show items properly. We had three tables set up with no back drop to hang portraits and clocks. I tried to clump my stuff all together, but I also had some items spread around. I sold about 40 mini bird house ornaments, 25 gift card holders, several mini clocks and a hole slew of other stuff. Altogether we sold about $1700 with me selling the most at $550. Next year, We will have two booths and I will build a back drop!

Good sales there Dan, I know what it is like when there is not much room to display, I do 3 small shows a year and only have a 1.6mt table to display and that costs $40, cant put much on that amount of space.
I like your ornament displays, must make one up for my next show
