I rember all most all of those stars! WHOW! I didn't rember there being so many of them though!

And all of the old western movies and TV shows that I had forgotten! That is a REAL trip down memory lane!

that was great, JP  thanks for the memories--but where is the news reel and the 25 cartoons that went with those old westerns--We use to collect the waxed disk on top of quart milk bottles and if you had 10 you got in the movie free-- if I had worked real hard and was good I would get 25 cents allowance--5 cents each way on the bus, 5 for pop cord, 5 for soda and 5 for candy-- this were simple back then, for us kids any way--Richard aka thumbs

Sure are a bunch of us Old Farts here!
TV isn't what it used to be when we were enjoying all those great old Westerns.
Only a few stand outs today. Such as Tom Selleck and a few others I can't bring to mind right now. I guess they aren't really stand outs are they?
Mostly trash talking brothers from the hood or models made out to be a$$ kicking detectives.
About as far from reality as you can get. Bad dudes who don't even know how to hold a pistol in order to hit what they are pointing at. Any of our troops would clean their clock in a heart beat!
Someone tell me what's with all the Vampire junk on TV? Not just for Halloween any more.
My wife enjoys watching cooking shows, I leave the room because of all the bleeps, can't even understand what they are talking about. Chefs with a bad attitude and a limited vocabulary!

Remember some of these and the movies. Watching from the balcony of our old film house in my birth town back in South Africa. Eating popcorn, chewing gum and drinking a fizzy drink with no particular flavour. Ye that one took me down memory lane all right.

Remember the Saturday Matin?es with all the serials Flash Gordon, RR, Gabby, Gene and the wonder dog Rin Tin Tin, as you can see I mostly went for the Westerns. 
Half a dozen cartoons. Great way to spend the day and little money too.
Now they rent those seats out for 10 bucks an hour plus they rob you at the consession stand.
Haven't been in one for years, they've priced themselves out of business.
