I have notice that some people use glass in they frames when framing fret work pics. So i was wondering what is every ones preference and why if there is a reason .

i usually use glass when i frame a portrait just because i feel it is easier to clean the glass then dust the cutouts.

my 2 cents worth

I usually use glass, although there has been times that I haven't. If I come up with an odd size when I make a frame I don't use glass. Just my opinion  Edward

I've cut and framed about 6 portraits in my time , and I went ahead and used glass > cause some of these went to homes of smokers and I figured it would be a little easier to clean. But I also figured that even if little hands were to touch it , maybe it would also help protect it too ....my two cents worth....Marshall
