question on the Excaliber

I just watched the video  on the excaliber on Seyco's site.  He talks about feeding from the top.  I am a bottom feeder because my right hand doesn't work so good.  Can the Excaliber work for bottom feeders?

Judy, Any saw will work for bottom feeders, but not all saws will top feed. The Excalibur's top arm can be adjusted so the arm stays up by itself or be held up with you hand and let gravity lower it. So the answer to your question is yes!

I find it easier to bottom feed on the Ex. matter of preference

Yep.  That's how I do it. On the little stuff when I use the small blades (most of the time) I don't even lift the top arm.  It is very easy to thread from the bottom.  I LOVE my Excalibur and think it is the nicest saw around.

Judy , I bottom feed because it is easier to get good tension on the blade--That's one thing I miss about my Dewalt, is how good the tension concept is.--JMHO.  Richard aka thumbs

I'm a bottom feeder as well on my ex21.

And I'm still another bottom feeder with my EX21.  Seldom top feed.  Funny part is I had a RBI 220VS that was a great saw, but I sold it and bought the EX21 so I could top feed, then found I really didn't like to top feed.  I'm not sorry I changed, but it really wasn't necessary.

Top feed bottom feed who cares what ever takes your fancy and what ever you are comfortable with as long as the saw does as it is supposed to do and that is cut wood in comfort
