New Addition.....

We were passing the pet adoption agency this morning qnd it called out to us!

Now have a new kitten...
4 mos. old spayed female cutie (no name yet) extremely affectionate and very alert.
Obvious that she was not at all mistreated and curious as a kitten is supposed to be.

I think I have a new 'lap warmer' in the making.

Thought about calling her 'Cocobolo' or 'Kauri' but the sister I live with balked!

How about Splinter?  They do both get under your skin!

My sisterinlaw had a pair of goats named Briggs & Stratton, and a huge German Shepherd named Alcatraz (nobody gets away from Alcatraz).

How about naming her after a type of wood like, Aspen, Holly, Sapele. I'm sure there are many more too

Wonderful GB... I'm so happy for you... But if you ever come to visit please dust the clothes very well ... I'm highly allergic to cats.. LOL.... Great on your new found lap warmer.. Nothing like having a Dustcatcher in your lap... Sheila

You might want to rethink that name, GB. After all what impression will people get when you exclaim, " I have a Splinter in my lap."

Better to have a splinter in his lap than in his ahhh, never mind. Glad you have have a new friend/pet. We have two cats.  ;)
