Hey!

Who has a pattern for a functional nutcracker or knows where I can get one? I want a classic Nutcracker man, no modern versions.

nice grampa!

no really, I'm thinking of a 3 layer version, each 3/4". Eventually 4 layers to make the center with the mechanism 1.5".

Strange enough I can not find a stencil or picture of the shape from a guard, hunter, soldier, what-ever-fits.
I already thought about a modern elephant or deer version, just to test the idea.

thanks Oges. You'll find these instructions on a lot of websites. But never combined with a pattern or pictures.

My husband named him.  They had him for sale at Menards (local Big Box store like home depot).  They were asking like 900.00............three weeks after christmas they were desperate to get rid of him and I threw out $50.00 and dang if they didn't accept it.  They even loaded him in our truck.................LOL  Went we get him out for christmas I will take a bunch of pictures of him.
