I've tried and tried but I just can't make a decent stencil for the pic.  Any help?  Oh...and don't let his angelic face fool you...he is an absolute terror!!
Thanks

I think it came out great.  Do I cut out the black or the white?  And how thick should the wood be?

Hey Anne, you can use what ever thickness wood you would like. If your are going to use solid wood, I would go with 1/4" to 1/2". What most of us do is use 1/8" Baltic birch plywood, stacked anywhere from two to six layers. That way you have more than one piece.
But you may want to stick with 1/4" for now.

Cut the Black Anne, that way the backer gives it depth and provides the color you decide to use for it. The wood can be stained or left natural. The Baltic Birch  called BB here is pretty light and could pass for the white in the dog's coat.
