Hi all,  I'm new to this forum and wanted to say hi.  I've been a woodworker for years and had my own business cutting wood for tole painters in the late "80"s.  It's good to be here among fellow woodworkers.  Oh yah, did I mention I love to fish?

Hey Dave, Welcome to the forum! I'm Dan from Southern California. That's how I got started in scrolling. My wife had a group of about six tole painters that got together at our house twice a week. I cut all the wood for them. A pretty good amount of my workshop was bought by the money I made from that group!

Welcome!
Well - The time the fishing season ends is just about right to get into the wood shop for the seasonal cuttings.

I like your signiture about never finishing anythi...   I useta never get started on Christmas stuff until Thanksgiving.  Never got all the stuff done neither until Jan. or Feb. sometimes May or June.  I don't know about getting started early, I caught two northerns and one walleye this afternoon/evening.  A whole lot colder here than in Washington State, then there's that thing everyone talks about here something called (ICE FISHEN).  I'll have to check that out a little better this year also.
