« on: August 27, 2011, 07:38:58 pm »
Hello I'm Steve and live in the shadow of the 2012 Olympics.

I am overwhelmed with the work that can be produced from scrolling, its like a hidden world opening its doors to me. Steve's work just blows me away.
And the amount of help and advice here is amazing too.

cheers

Hi Steve, Welcome to the forum. I'm Dan From Southern California.
Yes, Most saws can be set on a table top, however if it is not clamped down or bolted to the table, It will vibrate badly. I don't know what is available in the UK, but I'm sure some one will come on and help you wit that.
Again, Welcome to the forum.

Hi Steve.  I am Dan from Arizona.  Just recently stayed at a hotel near Tower Hill in London.  Had a wonderful week there even if it did hit 90 deg F the one day.  Cheers

Hi Steve.  I started with a dremel on my kitchen countertop.  Any saw can be set on a counter.  There is no rule that you have to put a stand under it.  Several people here on the forum cut inside their house and do not have their saw mounted on a stand.
Welcome to the forum.  Glad to have you.  I'm Julie from Texas.
