Ailene's product!
« on: August 13, 2011, 01:21:46 pm »
I was just at Michael's and saw a spray can of Ailene's permanent spray adhesive and another of Ailene's Fast Tack spray adhesive.

Has anybody tried these products yet?

Wondering how they would be to glue 'backers' on projects....

Have not tried them here either...have never seen them.  But I do use the Ailene in the bottle and its good so perhaps the spray will be as good.

I have not tried that particular brand of spray but I have used 3m77 for that purpose successfully.

Junk is something you've kept for years and throw away three weeks before you need it.

OK..I had my 'room mate' pick up a can last night...am finishing up some projects today and will report on the spray tonight.
(will 'expense' cost of material as scientific research!)

I use Ailene's tacky glue for my poster board backers and it works good.  Just took me a little while getting use to not pressing to hard at first.  Poster board slides easy as first.

I've used the permanent spray.  As far as I know it works great - it's as easy to use as any other.  I'm attaching photo's for puzzles and had no lift-up at all.

When in doubt, just do the next right thing.
