Finally finished. Horse's head in oval
« on: August 10, 2011, 01:59:39 pm »
2 1/2 feet tall by 21 inches wide.  Birch wood...horse left natural, oval stained red oak, but is still attached to the horse and just taped off to avoid staining the horse.  Glued to painted black backer. As usual, sorry for showing so small, just protecting the pattern.

Everything you do is of the Highest Quality and Expert Craftmanship.  Makes a lot of us Envy you.  Did you ever post the reason you make most of your projects so big?  And do you use mostly a spiral blade?  Thanks....  Danny:+}

I always use spirals.  Have never used a flat blade.  I do them big for the challenge and because ya can't get good money for an 8 x 10 that's just as detailed as one that's large. (Thanks everybody)

Very very nice Charlie.  Never used flat blades...I have never used sprial blades.  But with that size I can understand why you would use sprials.  Do you mind sharing what price you can expect to receive from a piece that size?

Thanks,
