I made this cross from 1/2 Maple. Cut using FD-UR #3 and FD-UR #5.
Not sure if I should leave as is or stain it.

that wood grain needs to pop don'T you dare stain it..........Unless you really want to.

Beautiful Cross...
BLO and Mineral Spirits...50/50 let it soak and then set it up to dry and wipe off any excess.
Go for it...it should really dress it up.

After the oil dries, top coat with lacquer or poly or acrylic. I like to us semi gloss or satin.
