In Judy's piece she said she used western red cedar. I used popular, WRC, pine, mahogany, and some walnut that came from a dresser that was part of a bedroom set my parents brought back is the 60's, around here the type of furniture was known as Holywood furniture. The furniture became popular because similar syyles were featured in shows like "I love Lucy, and the Honeymooners". My parents are gone now but a piece of them lives on in this piece.
