Newbie from Texas

Hey All! I'm TJ. I'm told I should come over here and introduce myself.

I'm from Texas, and I have been scrolling for about 3 years now. I sell my stuff online and at craft shows. Mostly though, I just sell things to clean out my house a bit. Scrolling is my life and it is my addiction. :)

I'm just getting into making bowls and vases on my scrollsaw. Really love how they turn out. It's fun to start glueing scrap wood together, then cutting the bowl just to see how it will turn out.

Glad to find a Scrollers forum!

I am looking forward to it! Thank you very much!
I actually have a topic over in the general scrollsaw catagory, but it won't hurt to ask here too..

Anyone know the name of a food safe epoxy that can be used on mugs? I saw a booth selling the mugs at the Rennesance Festival, and I really loved the finish they had on them all. Would love to make some of my own. Any ideas?

Welcome TJ, I'm Dan from Southern California. Come on in and join the fun.
As far as an epoxy, There are many on the market. All are food safe when cured. There is no specific product for what you want to do but this will work. http://www.woodcraft.com/Product/2004669/7320/Clear-Coat-Kit.aspx

Retired?? LOL, Nope. I'm only 30. My husband works and I get to stay home and do woodworking all day long. He suggested the arragement, and I'm happy to comply. :)
