Help me, Wedding gift.

Hey, can I get help with making a pattern of a wedding gift. Regards Roger

You could easily make a frame from the photo you uploaded for the photo inside.
Now I'm confused!
Cut the square part with the birds and date and cut out the heart, place the photo and put a backer to hold it all together.
Simple and effective!

 You are not  alone in the confuddion Gabby I am not sure what he want's unless it is the picture and frame made into a one pattern maybe Because other then that I am with you on your idea.

Well now all he has to do is make up his mind which way he's going to go.
I like your choice of font too, it should be fairly easy to cut.
