Argument with Mrs. Wife - suggestions for a apron?

I got abused.
My Mrs. Wife is a little "displeased" because of how my shirts look when I return from the wood shop.
Well, I have to give into - she might be right. Most t-shirts have suffered... 

I'm feeling a little to young for a apron. Any suggestions? what's your choice? should I bring her flowers & chocolate more often?

Torsten--I have the same problem--my Mrs finally made me an apron to wear in my shop--I also wear a pair of garden clogs so that I don't bring the mess upstairs--I think all of us married guys have this problem--Richard aka thumbs

Could you limit the number of shirts you wear in the shop and keep your nice ones nice?

I don't have a "Mrs. Wife" but wht I do is limit my work clothes to certain items and only those. I also make sure that I wash those items myself!

Suggest you go with candy, flowers and dinner out!

I use a dust cloak, a long one, comes over my knees.
really great, spares me a lot of argue with "my Mrs wife"

Well since I'm Mrs Wife I use an apron and I have the same clothes for shop use.. Keeping my good clothing good... Sheila in Tx

Yeah, I try to use certain clothes for the dirty work - but I'm also often in the work shop in the evening "just finishing something" or so, and I don't change clothes then.

The point on the apron is that it reminds me of my former master back when I did my industrial training. He was rigorous and has learned me me quite some. I might get scared when I look down on me  

I'll do a little research on the web. Oh, and I'll make up a dinner in our favorite restaurant

My wife made one for me, it  wraps around and ties in the back nothing to get caught in spinning machinery.

I like a dust cloak better then a apron because with an apron I still have dust (or finish) on the sleeves of my shirt.

I always want to have a Leather apron , but its to expensive for me.

Leather? I don't know. Should be quite heavy. Don't know if I want to wear that in the summer.
