Steve's Cheese Dome and Cheese Knife with tray
« on: July 04, 2011, 11:45:06 am »
The Pattern for the Cheese Dome is by Steve. Made from Mahogany. I Purchased the glass dome, tile and knife blade from www.woodturnerscatalog.com. The Knife handle is made from mahogany also and turned on my lathe. The tray is also mahogany and was cut on the scroll saw. All finished with my usual BLO mix and semi gloss lacquer.

Great job Dan!

Is that black granite for the cutting surface?

The colors compliment each other very well.
