This is Steve's Pattern with some minor edits.  The wood is 3/4 poplar and stained a golden oak, finished with semi gloss lacquer.

My dog would chew it up.  She's like the dogs in UP.  Say the word squirrel and she almost tears the door down to get out.
But you did a great job.
