Hello From Texas
« on: June 12, 2011, 11:56:30 am »
Hello,
My name is Jim ...and I am a scroll sawyer.
I live in Lubbock Texas and have a small woodworking workshop in my garage.  I have two Hegner scroll saws beside other wood working tools and enjoy playing with them about 35 hours a week.  I am a retired sheet metal worker but now I make sawdust most days.  I have made a LOT of toys with  my scroll saw.  I have done a few pieces of intarsia and lately I have been making lots of cedar boxes with inlayed images in the lids.  I have made some of the Steve good projects too. (Flowers etc.)
I sell my woodworking projects at street-craft fairs here, about twice a month.  I look forward to getting more ideas and inspiration in this forum

Hey "scroll sawyer",
I hope you saw your own - and not talking others into having your fun!

We are always interested in good ideas - our toys section might need some input.

Have fun!
