Schnauzer Request
« on: June 05, 2011, 04:54:48 pm »
I have tried to make a pattern out of this picture but I am a cutter, not a designer.  Hope I can get some help on this one.  Thanks very much.

Heck Chuck you've already got his head mounted on the wall, really good taxidermy there. LOL
He looks like he's pretty feisty, typical Schnauzer!
One of those great pattern makers will have a ball with this.

Hey Gabby, How did you guess?  I mounted the head and they were not to happy with that.  LOL  Maybe they would be happy with a cut-out.
(To all dog lovers, I am Joking.  Only Gabby thought it was mounted)

Well you did a good job you can see he's mounted on the wall when you zoom in.
LMAO oops there went another piece now I don't have anything left to sit on.
I really do like the photo Chuck much better than many I have seen.
As Marion can tell you I'm also a DOG person, but not quite as much as my wife.
If she could teach one to run the mower and take out the garbage (not eat it).
I'd be out of a job and living under a bridge somewhere.   ;D

Charlie does it again!  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Ok Chuck now you need a great piece of spalted maple or other wood to produce that great silver Gray effect!
Looking forward to your finished work.

What I have is a piece of Old Barn Wood that is going to be the project...  Very grey.  I will Spray the cut-out holes with black spray paint before I remove the patterns.  Will be posting it soon...

You people are geniuses! What software do you use and what buttons do you push? Can you do this with photo shop elements or gump?

I'm always amazed by the results when you guys make a pattern from photo's.  I try with some the pictures (and some of my own of course), but just haven't gotten to the point where i end up with anything that resembles the starting point.  Someday... In the meantime, i'll continue to enjoy your work!
