A Dog pattern
« on: May 19, 2011, 04:08:55 am »
Hello, everybody!
Not long ago I made a pattern from this photo.
Now I think is it possible to make another version, may be more realistic? It will be interesting to receive advice from the experts  :) Thank you!

You did a nice job on the pattern.  I am not a pattern maker but it sure looks nice to me.

Such a great pattern ... I think you are underestimating yourself.

Don't underestimate your talent....I think your pattern is very good.  Any more detail and I think it would be tooooo busy....Ron

The only thing I can see that just might make it a tiny bit better would be to position the image down a little so that you don't have to crop the ear. That's just my opinion, not a criticism.
I think it's great the way it is. More detail wouldn't necessarily make it any better either.

Hey Gabby...just reduce the image 5% when you print it out and then use your 'artistic creativity' to finish out the ear on the top left!

Very Nice pattern...

Might make one for my ex...she had one of those when we were dating..."yappyest" darn dog I have ever been around! Should have realized it ran in the family!

I never really wanted to grow up....All I wanted was to be able to reach the cookie jar...and play with my DW 788

Was it a Sheltie? If so it's because of the breeding nowadays. My wife used to breed them but quit when they started putting so much coat and other "improvements". AKC can sure screw up some fine dogs.
Look at the German Shepherds of today.
Argh!
