Scroller MIA
« on: April 26, 2010, 09:57:06 am »
Ive been tryin to contact an old friend of mine. Her name is Sylvia and her website is Kerfdesigns.com
I see her site is still up and running. Sylvia was one of the best pattern designers Ive known. She helped me out with some of my fretwork clock designs.

Has anyone heard from Sylvia? Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Gary

She was one of the best friends Ive ever had. I never did meet her.

Isnt that quite odd?

Hey Mike,
I miss those MSN Groups. Sylvia was the heartbeat of several of the groups.
I think anyday now she is going to pop up and surprise all of us!! Wouldnt that be cool?!

Gary,
That would be wonderful.  Perhaps she will be seen at the Texas picnic....

Gosh I wish I could go to those picnics. We just dont have anything for the Scrollers out here in the West. No clubs, no shows or picnics. I would love to meet all you folks who attend those things.

They have a show once every couple of years in Portland but still quite a ways to travel for both of us.

Don't feel bad.  I live only two hours from the picnic and can't afford to go.
