My First Portrait
« on: April 13, 2011, 12:22:29 pm »
This is my first try at a portrait. They are my folks and when done I will send it to them.
I used 1/4" BB ply.I am staining with dark walnut danish oil. Then I will spray it with poly.
It took me about 4 days to do. I took my time and went slow and had my peed on low.
Charlie dearing made the pattern for me from a picture I sent him.
I think it turned out ok.
Let me know what you all think. All info will help.

yeah, sorry for the light background. I just used the firstthing I found by my desk. I will look for a darker one to use as a backing and repost it.
Thanks.

James, you should feel proud of your work. The patience you took in completing this really shows. Your attention to detail is excellent. You can cut a portrait for me anytime.
