Steve did another excellent suggestion is purchasing the Wood River LED light from WoodCraft. Ordered my 5 days ago in stalled in about 5 minutes today has his video show how to. What a difference it makes on the DW788.

Is this the same light Seyco sells with their saws?  Sure looks like it, only theirs is quite a bit more $$.

I have the seyco light.  The difference is that you remove a screw in the upper arm and reinsert a screw from the light.  No mounting bracket or base.  There is nothing extra to get in your way.  It stays where you put it and does it's job.  I couldn't do without it.

Julie is the seyco light also the magnifier?  If so Do you find the vibration from the saw to be distracting when looking through the lens?  I had a magnifier I used for my dewalt but the slight vibration was a big distraction to me.

Yes, it has a 3 diopter magnifier lens.  I don't have a problem with vibration on the light because the switch is on a magnetic base down the cord, the light is not as heavy as other lights and therefore does not vibrate.
