The Sun, Moon and the Stars
« on: April 07, 2011, 08:58:17 am »
The Sun, Moon and the Stars Mobile is from the Scroll Saw magazine. I made it from 3/4 pine. I thinned out water based acrylic paints to color it like a stain

I really like this, I didn't care for it so much in the magazine but yours seems better.

Thanks everyone! Very nice compliments. I'm actually blushing. I gave the piece away last night. It was my friend Melissa's birthday. She had seen some of the parts while I was cutting it and she loves that kind of stuff. I made her smile, thats all I need. :)

Great work.  Thanks for showing it....I had seen the pattern when I first looked at the magazine, and then forgot about it.  I'm getting old :D
So, thanks for the reminder.  I'll have to dig out the pattern, and make a couple for my 2 grandsons.
