Free standing name jigsaw

Hi steve was wondering how you turn a Free standing name into a jigsaw,ie you did a friends one a while back.Name is to be cut from 1/2 inch  wood.regards paul

Hi Paul, I used corel draw to that. If you just need a pattern or two for yourself you can use any program that allows kerning of the letters. Make the letters overlap using the kerning feature and print it out. Use a pencil to draw the interlock between the letters and your all set. I pretty sure Microsoft Word has the ability to kern. If you don't have that try open office. I'll se if I can find a program that does kerning for you if those don't work. If you don't mind learning a more complicated program you could use Inkscape. It is a free vector graphics program that has many of the features of Corel Draw. You can find it a www.inkscape.org.
