block of wood is Curly Claro Walnut (has some excellent waves in it
) I can't remember for sure what the open/closed insert was, but I want to say Canary wood? Address plate is cut from brass sheet and had it engraved at a local place in the mall. The little crystals around the clock are hot fix Swarovski (clear) and the center of the clock is a hard drive platter with the roman numerals engraved by me.
Back has a custom made cover from regular walnut with 4 magnets in the corners over the corresponding screws to hold it on. the "Thank You, Please come again" is cut from .050 PPW (pre-painted white) aluminum. Hanging eyes are solid brass and had a black chain to hang it on.
