Bamboo Celtic Cross

This is another project I made from a bamboo cutting board. It is a little over 1/4" thick and stands 11" tall.
I really like how the bamboo cuts, and how it looks.

That turned out great. i bought one of those cutting boards from Walmart last year and did the same thing.Thanks for giving us a look. Bobby

That is very cool.  You said "I really like how the bamboo cuts", how would you describe it?  How does it compare with more commonly used woods?

Looks absolutely great! Awesome seems to be more the right word. Thanks for showing off the process as well. Going to see if I can get hold of some bamboo or other cutting boards.
