Steve's "Road Rules" and Fretwork baskets
« on: March 09, 2011, 08:42:54 pm »
Just a couple items to keep me busy, will likely end up as gifts.

"The Road Rules" is 1/2" oak.  Cut with FD-UR #5.  Coated with lemon oil.  Will finish with satin clear lacquer.

Large and small fretwork baskets are 1/4" and 1/8" Baltic birch ply (respectively).  Former is stained with Minwax Golden Oak and finished with satin lacquer.  Latter is stained/finished with Minwax Polyshades Mission Oak.  If I'm remembering correctly, I cut both using FD-UR #3 blades.

Awesome job on all three. I really like how you share what went into the project: wood, stain/oil, blade used, etc.
Thanks for sharing.
