Bear with me if I don't get this right. New at this forum posting stuff.
I've been scrolling for a couple of years. Saw this pattern in the first month or so, knew it was beyond me but bought it anyway as something to work up to.
Finally worked up the nerve to try it a couple of weeks ago.
Of course it took me nearly as long to figure out how to post it ( even with Steve's videos as computers aren't my strong suit ) as it took to make it.

Is this your first Intarsia or did you start of with others?

Regardless, you did a fantastic job on this one.  Your selection of woods, cutting and shaping is first rate,

This is my first "real" intarsia piece.

I did a free bear from ( I think ) Judy Roberts site. About 20 pieces, and then a squirrel ( my daughter has a phobia for squirrels so I had to make one for her ) with about 30 pieces and then this.
